Nothing About Us Without US

Nothing about us without us

Nothing wings us to the earth and star-

Fronted lights and times of the edge

And the start a-fresh of the use of the needle

And the thread to tie us together

In knots that would bow to the wind

But not to the blessing of insanity

And ill-health.

  1. Wow! This poem is breath-taking and purely wonderful brilliance.

    What inspired this poem?

You always have a talent for how you see the world in your eyes. I love it. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Man! (In my best Souf Efrican) Actually the first line comes from a DPAC (Disabled Persons Against Cuts) press release here in the UK this morning and i thought I have contributed little so I would contribute a poem. And the moderator accepted it. So cheers, Bud! How are you? Good?
